Sony releases 'Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart' for PC on July 26

The PC version of the PS5 game will include support for 21:9, 32:9, and 48:9 aspect resolutions, allowing for tri-monitor setups and ultra-widescreen gameplay.

Sony is bringing Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart to PC on July 26 with several improvements.

“The PC version of Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart features ray-traced reflections with a variety of quality levels to choose from and newly added ray-traced shadows for natural light in outdoor areas,” it says (Opens in a new window) Julian Huijbregts, Online Community Specialist for Nixxes Software, which was acquired by PlayStation Studios in 2021, and has worked (Opens in a new window) with Ratchet & Clank developer Insomniac on various PlayStation ports to PC.

The game also supports “unlocked frame rates and includes the latest performance-enhancing technologies,” adds Huijbregts. “You’ll be able to choose between Nvidia DLSS 3, AMD FSR 2, Intel XeSS and Insomniac Games’ Temporal Injection. Nvidia Reflex and Nvidia DLAA are also supported which improves image quality.”

The PC version will also offer full mouse and keyboard support with customizable controls, while DualSense controllers will allow users to feel in-game actions due to dynamic trigger effects. It will also include all five armors from the Digital Deluxe Edition and the 20th Anniversary Armor Pack, plus five other armors inspired by previous games in the franchise.
