‘OMG 2’ will clash with Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Animal’ and Sunny Deol’s ‘Gadar 2’ at the box office.
OMG 2 Release Date: Akshay is one of the busiest actors in the movie industry with his back-to-back releases. He is now back with the second installment of ‘Oh My God-OMG’ and the creators have finally announced its release date after much anticipation. Apart from Akshay Kumar, ‘OMG 2 also stars Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam.

‘OMG 2’ will be released in theaters on August 11, 2023. The film will clash with Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Animal’ and Sunny Deol’s ‘Gadar 2’ at the box office.
Sharing the release date, Akshay Kumar wrote on Twitter: “Aa rahe hai hum, aaiyega aap bhi. Aug 11. In theaters. #OMG2.”

The first installment was directed by Amit Rai and starred Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal in the lead role. It revolved around Kanji Lalji Mehta, who is an atheist but owns a shop of Hindu idols and antiques. After his store is destroyed by an earthquake, he sues God because he can’t get insurance.
Earlier, it was reported that ‘OMG 2’ will be released on OTT instead of in theaters due to Akshay Kumar’s back-to-back box office flop.

On the employment front, Akshay Kumar will be seen in ‘Jolly LLB 3’ along with Arshad Warsi and Saurabh Shukla. Arshad confirmed that the film will be released in 2024.
“Subhash Kapoor, Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi have been toying with the idea of Jolly LLB 3 for a while and things have clicked. Subhash has resolved an issue that warrants a showdown between the two Jollys. It is hilarious with a very relevant topic for debate in the courts of law”, said a source quoted by Pinkvilla.

Meanwhile, Akshay will also be starring in the Hindi remake of ‘Soorarai Potturu’ along with Radhika Madan. He will be seen in ‘Bade Miyaan Chote Miyaan’ along with Tiger Shroff, Manushi Chhillar and Sonakshi Sinha.
