BTS member J-Hope has reportedly become an assistant instructor in the South Korean military.

According to a Soompi report, a military official stated that the rapper was cast in the role at the recruit training center for the 36th Infantry Division. The publication, citing a source, reported, “J-Hope will serve as an assistant instructor after passing a period of evaluation of educational qualifications.”

Reacting to this, BigHit Music said, “Please understand that it’s hard to confirm.” After finishing his military training, J-Hope made his first post last week. He posted photos of himself wearing military gear on Weverse. He wrote: “Everyone in ARMY!!! I have completed (training) well. The letters and support you all have sent has been a great help, that’s why I was able to work hard while receiving training! !!!”

He further added, “I will continue to work hard and show you my good sides for the rest of my time when I wear the uniform. I love you! (purple heart emoji)… cell phone is fascinating.” ….lol.” Reacting to the post, RM commented, “You worked hard J-Hope!!!”

On April 18, J-Hope became the second BTS member to enlist in the military. The first one was Jin, while the other members RM, Suga, Jimin, V, and Jungkook plan to carry out their military service based on their individual plans.
