The ministry has arrived in Parliament to table the Budget 2024 

Speaking of the budget session, the ministry is prepared to present and has already arrived in Parliament. Notably, Nirmala Sitharaman is presenting her sixth budget as India’s Finance Minister.

President Droupadi Murmu addressed the Houses in a joint session  

Earlier, President Droupadi Murmu addressed the Houses in a joint session, stating that 2023 will be a landmark year for India, as the country has seen momentum in becoming the fastest-growing major economy.

“Despite the global crisis, India experienced the greatest growth of any major economy in 2023. India increased by roughly 7.5% for two straight quarters,” she is reported as saying by news agencies.
