As per recent reports, Scotland is bearing the brunt of the severe weather, with forecasts suggesting that water levels could surge to an extraordinary five metres above usual because of Storm Babet.

Nearly 30,000 customers experienced power outages, and although most were swiftly reconnected, it left approximately 3,800 properties without electricity, as per Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN).
